Hereās everything you need to know to make sure your mail and parcels reach you safely during your stay.
š” If you live in a Coliving or Shared Apartment
Coliving houses
There is usually one shared mailbox for the whole house.
You can receive your mail and small parcels there.
Please note that name plates are not installed, as tenants change often.
Flatshares
You can check directly with your housemates to see if any mail or parcels have arrived.
Youāll also find all relevant delivery information in your tenant space, under the section āPractical Informationsā.
š§šŖ In our Large Project in Belgium
You will receive an e-safe code when you move in. This code allows you to access your mailbox and collect your mail.
Each mailbox usually shows the tenantās name, and parcel lockers often have a label such as āHome 2ā, āHome 4ā, etc.
If a parcel cannot be delivered to the lockers, it will be automatically redirected to the nearest pick-up point.
Please note that it is not possible to install a name plate on the mailbox, as tenants change too frequently.
š If you live at Athena
To make sure you receive your mail correctly:
Always write your Home number (not your room number) in your address.
Each apartment has its own mailbox labelled with its Home number, which helps the postman deliver your mail correctly.
For parcels
You can use the Bringme Box, available on site.
If your parcel is too large or a registered delivery cannot fit in the locker, you may contact the Residence Manager for assistance.
You normally donāt need to use external pick-up points, since parcels can be received directly at Athena via the Bringme Box, the mailboxes, or the Residence Manager.
š¢ If you live at Waka
Letters
Please make sure your room number appears on all mail you receive.
The Residence Manager keeps the only set of mailbox keys and checks the mail weekly.
Letters are then delivered directly to your room.
Parcels
Waka does not have a reception desk or smart locker system.
You must be on-site to receive your parcels directly from the courier.
The Residence Manager does not collect or store parcels under any circumstances.
We recommend using a nearby locker or pick-up point instead:
Amazon Locker: Anastasio Herrero 1
Smart Lockers: Mercado San Enrique (2 minutesā walk from Waka)
If you encounter any problems or if your residence does not fit the above instructions, please do not hesitate to contact us via your customer account.
