At Colonies, the minimum stay duration depends on the country and the type of contract.

All contracts are tacitly renewable. As you can leave at any time by giving one month's notice, the minimum length of stay is one month.

The minimum stay is 6 months. After this period, you can either extend your stay or terminate it with a one-month notice.

Flatshare: Fixed contract for one year, renewable with early departure possible after 6 months by giving 3 months' notice.

Private apartments: Fixed contract for six months, renewable with early departure possible by giving 3 months' notice starting on the 1st of the following month.

Coliving: Open-ended contract, tacitly renewable every year, with early departure possible by giving 3 months' notice starting on the 1st of the following month.

Contracts are for a fixed term of between 1 and 12 months, depending on your situation.

Even though our contracts are flexible and our homes are open to everyone, we encourage longer stays to help build strong communities and ensure a great living atmosphere within our residences.
