What do I have to pay at the time of booking?

When you book a property with Colonies, several elements need to be paid to finalize your reservation and secure your booking.

💳 Application Fee

At the time of booking, an application fee is typically required. This fee covers the administrative process of preparing your contract, validating your application, and our support throughout the application phase. Colonies strives to keep application fees lower than standard agency fees. Switch fees may apply in the event of a room change.

🔒 Security Deposit

Depending on the residence and your profile, a security deposit may be required. This deposit is usually equivalent to one month's rent and is refunded at the end of your stay, subject to the condition of the property at the time of the exit inspection.

🏠 First Month's Rent

You will also need to pay the first month's rent at the start date of your contract. If you encounter any problems, you can use WISE via the partnership link.

🧾 Payment Method

You can pay these fees securely by credit card, and you will find all the necessary payment information on your tenant portal.

Note: Home Insurance - It is mandatory to have home insurance and provide a certificate of insurance before moving in.
